I wasn't sure where to put this but I have an idea for a blog post! I think you should consider talking about Vegetarianism. I think it fits perfectly into being more eco-friendly and body-friendly. Simply by cutting out meat, just like switching to reusable menstrual products, we can have a HUGE impact on our world. Isn't that what Lunapads is all about? Just a thought!

I just ordered my first Lunapads! I'm so excited! I only ordered a few pantyliners that I plan to use as backup to the DivaCup that I bought last summer. I'm thrilled to know that I am forever done with tampons and I'm only seventeen! I feel really lucky having found the Lunapads website and the DivaCup. For the first time in the five years that I've had my period, I am actually looking forward to it! If someone had told me five years ago that I would actually enjoy menstruating, I wouldn't have believed them. Once my pantyliners arrive, I'm hoping to buy a few maxipads for overnight protection when my DivaCup gets a little bit too full...I hate getting up in the middle of the night to empty it! With a few maxipads, I'll hopefully get a good nights rest even on my heaviest.

I can't wait to try out my Lunapads! :)

Reply to Heather - I love my panty liners. I probably have ordered too many (is that possible?) because the designs are so nice, but I have enough panty liners and pads to make it for a month without doing laundry.

My first reaction on the first day I wore the panty liners was "these are thicker than what I've been buying all these years". The extra thickness (compared to the ultra thin liners and pads on the market now) is not even an issue anymore for me. I guess I got used to it, and it is easier to get used to because its fabric.

In regard to your fear they won't feel as dry as the disposable panty liners - I haven't had this problem at all. And really, if I feel like I want to change a panty liner during the day, the fact that it snaps on instead of sticks on is a huge bonus. Before, if I was having a really sweaty day, it was impossible to get the disposable panty liner to stick to my underwear. Now, that isn't an issue and it is almost as good as a mid day underwear change.

I'm really happy with the material that the pads are made from. I didn't realize how great fleece could be! I always thought of fleece as good for blankets and jackets, but it makes a great panty liner too. And the Lunapads staff have picked the best designs (part of the reason why I have purchased so many).

I wish you luck and I hope you feel the confidence about the products to make the switch :)

I’m curious to try the light lunapads. I like to wear panty liners every day, and I think the cloth would be much more comfortable. I wonder if it would still give the fresh, dry feeling a panty liner does even though it’s cloth and like underwear?
