Never going back to tissues. These are softer than even tissues w/ lotion. Right now I'm sick, and had I not had these hankies I probably would have gone through more than a box of tissues, with a more raw nose to boot. I always have one in my pocket, one in my bed, and one in my bathroom. I have extras as well, which are all much needed now that I'm sick. I just wish my boyfriend would use them too. These are so much nicer on my nose than tissues, especially during colds or allergy season. The surprise was in finding how much more convenient they are too. No problem at all when I throw a pair of pants into the laundry and forget to empty out the pockets.
I have some of both sizes, but I find that I prefer the smaller ones. I keep finding additional places where I "need" to stash another one. Now I cringe whenever I leave the house without one, and find that my only option is a tissue.

I love these hankies, I have 18 of them. I can go through them quickly but they are so easy to clean - they go into the wash with the rest of the dirty laundry and they dry on rack within a day and a half. Air drying them keeps them soft and helps keep the soft flannel feel.

The only thing I had to get used to was remembering to take one, two or three in a pocket or purse. But now I have them spares in my bag and in strategic places in the house.

I'm trying to get my husband to use them but he doesn't need them as much and so will forget to reach for one. Otherwise, he likes them too. (Posted on 5/20/11)

I bought a few of these with the intention of using them in lieu of disposable tissues (the larger ones I use at the dinner table). Part of my rationale was to be kind to the environment, and the other part was to be kind to my skin (the reason I use Lunapads, Lunapad panties, Cloth Wipes, etc.) I am just getting over a cold and bad cough (which turned into laryngitis!) and have to say these hankies got me through well. I can remember a red, dry, irritated nose when using tissues for my colds. But these work like a charm, muffle the sound of my cough, don't irritate my skin, and, most importantly, I can never run out of them. I throw one in my purse for the day to day make up touch ups (sheen be gone). Thank you for making these available to your loyal fans. (Posted on 2/7/11)

These are so perfect! So soft on my skin. I have allergies and my eyes water a lot, and it's so nice to have these so that I don't irritate my eyes further with tissues. I bought three about six weeks ago, and I keep one in my purse, one by my bed, and one on my desk. (Posted on 12/31/10)

I bought these on a whim, because I am an allergy person and blow my nose... a lot. I am constantly cleaning mine, but it is well worth it. They're easy to clean and easy on the nose. I love love love this. I wish they weren't $5 each, but my next order will probably include another small one. Plus the blue breeze pattern is so pretty! i wanted to try these out, as i like the idea of handkerchiefs (maybe there's something retro and eco-friendly about them). but in the past, i found the cloth to be rougher on my nose than paper tissue.

i got one large and one small. they are so easy on the nose, far better than any other handkerchief i've used in the past. the fabric itself is soft to the touch, but did not indicate just how nice it would be on my nose (no awful red nose with dried out skin, despite using them extensively). note that i hang them to dry, i have not ironed them or machine dried them to this point. the large one is a bit bigger than i think you need, taking up a bit more space in pockets (but may be more useful for things other than nose-related use). but i like both sizes, and personally would order a mix of both sizes.

i love the two prints i got--the ginko and the blue breeze, of course it would be great to see even more prints, but i think they've got a decent selection considering that it's organic cotton. the only thing that wasn't my favorite is the lunapads tag (which just looks a bit funny when you use the handkerchief), but you can always just cut that off.
