    Dimensions: 35" x 24" / 60cm x 90cm

Lunablankets were originally created for overnight menstrual protection (no more stained sheets!), but are now even more absorbent thanks to a layer of thin, breathable nylon lining between the layers of cotton fleece and flannel. They're great for post-partum needs, and make a cozy and practical baby change pad as well.

1 layer of 100% cotton fleece, 1 layer 100% nylon, and 1 layer of 100% cotton flannel.

Lunapads can be washed by hand or machine in any temperature with your regular detergent. Pre-soaking or rinsing in cold water prior to washing is recommended (but not always necessary) particularly if the pads are heavily saturated. Please note that if Lunapads are being soaked, soaking water must be changed daily.

We recommend natural cleaning products such as Nellie’s All Natural Laundry Soda for regular cleaning, and Buncha Farmers Stain Remover to perk up stained pads. Heavily stained pads may also benefit from occasional machine wash and dry in hot settings or air drying in direct sunlight.

Please avoid the use of chlorine bleach or fabric softeners to clean Lunapads, as this will decrease the performance of the products and is harmful to the environment.

    1. Outside 'normal' use Review by Drew
      Quality

This may seem a bit strange, but I discovered a new use for Lunablankets. In the past, I used newspaper for bedding for my bird cage, but I just hated how much waste it generated! After discovering the measurements for the Lunablankets (and how they fit my bird's cage perfectly), I purchased a couple. I've been using them for months now and they are great! And for some magical reason, Lunablankets don't smell, like towels do (which I tried, as well). It may be silly, but they work and they cut down on waste, which makes me a happy customer. :) (Posted on 5/12/12)

    2. Great for Many Uses Review by Luna Lover
      Quality

My husband and I got one to use for our intimate times. Easy clean up and no worries about messy sheets! We love it, and it's become really special to us. Now we have a baby on the way and I will definitely put some more lunablankets on my registry for use postpartum, breastfeeding, and changing. I'm even thinking about putting one in the crib under the sheets. I feel the lunablanket materials are much safer than the standard rubber piddle pads, and they would be easy to change and wash. 3. Good idea, a little disappointed Review by Felicity
      Quality

This is a good quality product, but it was way smaller than I expected it to be and doesn't provide a whole lot of coverage area (I should have paid attention to the measurements when I ordered it). As other reviewers have noted, it does scrunch up if you are a tosser and turner like me. So combined with the small size, not sure if it's as useful as I thought it would be. It does provide some psychological security. I would really like to rate this product higher but can't for the reasons explained above. (Posted on 5/7/11) (Posted on 8/26/11)

    4. So many uses! Review by Jill
      Quality

I have been wanting one of these for a long time and decided to treat myself to this purchase......But it appears that my Dog has stolen it ;) I rescued my dog from a shelter this past summer and he has some bladder issues. Basically, he wets the bed. He loves to sleep on out couch but every thing I have purchased to protect the cushions does not seem to work and I don't like buying the disposable dog pads that have to be thrown away. It fits great on my couch and he loves it. It stays in place and protects my couch. SO now I am returning to purchase another one for me :)
My only reason for giving it 4 stars instead of 5 was the fact that there are no stitches in the middle of it (just the edges like other reviews have pointed out) and it makes it bunch up a bit and take a while to dry if put in the dryer. Still love it and is a great purchase! (Posted on 3/8/11) (Posted on 8/26/11)

    5. my moon time bed mate Review by Jeanie W.
      Quality

I used to use an old towel to protect my sheets, but the Lunablanket is softer and makes it seem special. (Posted on 2/25/10)

    6. useful in other ways Review by Katharine
      Quality

I bought 2 of these for expected post partum bleeding. However I never needed them for that, but now I use them on my son's changing table! They are absorbent and washable plus they are easy to put in the diaper bag for outings. (Posted on 4/13/10) (Posted on 8/26/11)

    7. Great for Mamas Review by Noelle
      Quality

I shift around in bed too much for this to be effective overnight back-up protection (the Lunablanket ends up getting scrunched down to the bottom of the bed or onto the floor by morning). However, it's wonderfully useful for baby care! The Lunablanket is thinner and softer than most portable changing pads I've found, which makes it perfect for the diaper bag. And if you breast-feed while lying on your side, it's a great thing to put down between mom and baby to soak up any drips. (Posted on 5/13/10) (Posted on 8/26/11)

    8. Sheet Saver Review by Marisa
      Quality

Perhaps I toss and turn less, but this blanket is both way more comfortable and way more effective than the towel method I employed prior to purchasing this blanket. If you have super heavy flow even at night, this is a good investment, as long as you don't toss and turn. My sheets were completely clean! (Posted on 5/30/10)

    9. Great protection! Review by Amy Boulanger
      Quality

I use to use a towel on real heavy nights. This gave me something else to match my pads and make that time of month just a little more comfortable. I must move around a lot at night because it doesn't always stay in place, but it does it's job! (Posted on 7/9/11) (Posted on 8/26/11)

    10. must have if nursing Review by breastfeeding wonder
      Quality

Love it for breastfeeding, keeps me and the bed dry for night time nursings and doesn't feel cold to the touch when soaked with breast milk so baby doesn't get cold lying on it when there is a lot of drippage! Great as a changing blanket as well as no worries with anything soaking through, but also soft and warm so baby doesn't have to lay on a cold plastic surface like a regular water proof change pad.
