Wish I'd had these 20 years ago Review by Anne
Quality I am nearing menopause now, but I absolutely love my pantyliners and wish I'd had them from my teenage years on. I use mainly the mini style, and every once in a while, they slide too far up or down, but mostly, they stay put. Disposables were always coming loose and sticking to ME instead of my underwear. Disposables aren't as absorbent and often left me damp and sticky. In the summer heat, disposables turn clammy, lose their adhesiveness, and bunch up, but Lunapad pantyliners stay drier and stay where they belong. I've been using them for about 3 years now, and I got my younger sister hooked on them, too. (Posted on 11/20/11)

great for night use for lighter flow ladies Review by erika
Quality I bought two of these (in leopard print, yeeah!) in 2003 or 2004 and have been using them ever since! I have a pretty light period but when I do need to use something at night, they are perfect and have held up quite nicely with handwashing and occasional machine wash. The sliding is a little annoying but I've never had it slide to a point where it's not providing coverage at night. The fabric is still soft and fluffy, so much more comfortable than a disposable pad! (Posted on 11/16/11)

You might not know how much you hate disposables until you realize how much you love Lunapads! Review by Hillary
Quality After 3 months of Lunapads, let me tell you how much I LOVE them! I bought the 7 day mini pantyliner kit and they are wonderful, perfect for the "expecting" phase, leak backup, and the last few days of my period. One thing I wish I had done differently would be to have bought them in different colors instead of ALL fossil fern (purple). I would have enjoyed the variety. I also bought two maxi pads with 2 additional sets of winged inserts. That was a great starter, but this month I had an "oops" and immediately went to Lunapads.com and ordered an overnight pad! Love these products...they are amazingly soft and absorbent. You might not know how much you hate disposables until you realize how much you love Lunapads! (Posted on 10/22/11)

So Soft! Review by Emily
Quality I got a one of the free samples where you only have to pay shipping, and I love it! I received one in Sky Blue. The blue color is very nice, and the fabric is so soft. When I have more money, I might just have to buy some more. (Posted on 10/20/11)

No more rash, no need to change my disposable liner 5 times a day, no worry about random leaks!!! And the best part is that they are so easy to wash and care for! I am never going back to disposable! Review by Cathpl
Quality Last fall I went through a MC with lots of complication, I bled for over 3 months and develop a serious rash. My sister who is a Diva Cup fan, told me about the lunapads product and I decided to give it a try. I started using the organic cotton panty liner and within 3 days the rash was gone. Since then I have become pregnant again and these panty liners have been a lifesaver for me ;-) No more rash, no need to change my disposable liner 5 times a day, no worry about random leaks!!! And the best part is that they are so easy to wash and care for! I am never going back to disposable!
Some people have mention the fact that they tend to move around a bit. I find that using the right size (length) gets rid of the problem. Also the type of underwear you wear will make a difference. Overall this has not been such an issue for me at all. (Posted on 9/15/11) -
Great product Review by Rain
Quality I really liked these pantyliners, I use it as a divacup backup. It does slide as stated above, but if you get some nice tighter panties it stays in place pretty well. Maybe if you intended to wear them with your usual "period panties" which, if they're anything like mine are non flattering looser granny panty style :) they might not work. Luckily, I haven't had any leaks since they're much stronger than disposable, so I feel comfortable wearing my nicer fitting panties without destroying them. I would however only recommend getting black for the center part of the pad (not the flaps or back), because with the lighter colors you will get some discoloration and staining. (Posted on 9/15/11)

Love these Review by Mia
Quality I'm definitely loving the cloth pads. I've kept some disposables around as a backup, but I don't use them anymore. I've noticed that the organic cotton is great for sensitive skin and it helps keep my dermatitis at bay. If I use disposables anymore my dermatitis flares right back up and is super itchy. No such problem with the cloth pads. The mini ones are perfect for the last 3-4 days of my period and keep things super simple. (Posted on 9/15/11)

Quality It is soooo soft, so cute, and absorbent! Saved my panties so many times!!! It easy to clean and I couldn't want or need any other pantyliner. Thanks Lunapads! (Posted on 9/15/11)

This is one fantastic little liner. Review by Julie
Quality Absolutely the most comfortable liner I have ever used. I don't even notice that I am wearing it. It's also incredibly absorbent for something so thin. I was once away from when I got my period and I had no supplies with me except the liner I was using. It held up to the task for about 2 hrs. at about light/medium flow until I got home.Carefree could never dream of doing that! (Posted on 9/4/11)

Best money I ever spent! Review by Green76
Quality These are amazing for daily discharge and at the end of your period, ESPECIALLY during summer in the south. They literally have changed my life -- I would rather change my underwear several times a day than wear those nasty plastic things (and I did). The fact that they fold up on themselves and snap is amazing because I can even keep a clean one in my pocket all rolled up if I'm somewhere that I can't carry my purse and bag during the day or put it in the small carry bag in my pocket.
I did sometimes have a problem with the liners moving back and forth or giving me a bit of a wedgie, but then I realized it wasn't the liners it was fit of the underwear I was wearing. On some styles/brands, the part between your legs is wider than others, and when you snap the liner on it can scrunch the underwear and cause the underwear to shift or bunch there, causing the liner to do the same. When that part of your underwear is narrower, sometimes the liner can slide a bit.
You will NOT regret these -- more than worth the money. I've been wearing them for about a year now with a lot of washing and they're no worse for the wear. (Posted on 7/17/11) -
Quality, but slides Review by Ket
Quality I got the free facebook couple deal where all I had to do was pay for shipping for a panty liner for me to try before buying other Lunapad products.
They're great quality, really soft and feel very nice. GREAT backup to my LadyCup.
But...they slide. Badly. No matter how many times I adjust it during the day or how far forward I put it, it slides quickly, and horribly. If I move it up in hopes of it sliding back, 'into position', it'll move more forward. If I put it in the right position, it'll move back and I have to constantly readjust it. If not for this I would buy more of them so I had more than 1 to use as a backup on my period.
Otherwise, quality is great, feels great, looks great. 3 stars for lacking performance[sliding issues] (Posted on 7/16/11) -
Like them, but a bit short. Review by Laura D
Quality These work well, as long as you don't mind adjusting them throughout the day. A 10" liner would be perfect, but since they don't have those, these are good if you don't want to wear the long liners.
They absorb well and work as a great backup to a Diva Cup or tampon. I'm sure that they would be great for everyday use as well. (Posted on 7/7/11) -
I will never go back to the throwaways...ever! Review by Lillie
Quality These are great! Soft, comfortable, they breath and I don't have to waste my money on garbage.
I use the cup and although tricky at first I love not having to change my tampon in dirty public washrooms.
I had the same issue with the pads sliding forward I just used some body tape (2 sided removable tape) and they don't move.
Thank You, Thank You, Thank You! (Posted on 5/27/11) -
noticing a theme Review by Meredith
Quality I've used various Lunapad products over the years and really like these minis as a back up for a sponge tampon. I see a lot of comments regarding the pad sliding out of place during use and wanted to share my own experience. I've had that same problem and found that no matter how I position it to start, it slides back the same distance. So I simply place the pad much farther forward than I ultimately want and soon it slides back a couple inches... into just the right spot. If that doesn't help, maybe try the long? It also slides, but you have more to work with. (Posted on 3/9/11)

comfortable, but didn't work out Review by Sunny Florida
Quality My daughter had me try the mini pantyliner. It was very soft and comfortable, but slid backward. It would not stay in the correct position for me. I would be willing to try it again sometime. (Posted on 2/6/11)

Perfect Backup Review by Val
Quality I had been using the Divacup for about a year and using disposal pads as backup before I tried Lunapads and pantyliners. It was great to be able to reduce how much garbage I threw away when I had my period. But even if the environment is not your first concern, the pantyliners are the best because they are so incredibly comfortable. It's great to be wearing essentially cozy clothing during your period instead of having nasty plastics against your skin. I have the PsycheDahlia pattern, so with the black they wash in the machine without any hassle. I haven't had any problem with them staying in place. For backup with the Divacup or for light flow Luna pantyliners are the most comfortable option. (Posted on 2/6/11)

My favorite Review by Cara
Quality I just started using the mini pantyliners. I have tried two other brands of reusable cotton pantyliners and the Lunas are my favorite. I use them for backup with my menstrual cup and for very light flow at the end of my period. They are thick enough for peace of mind but thin enough that they don't feel bulky. I like that the wings are curved (not straight and narrow like my previous liners), I think that helps keep them in place. The crotch of my underwear is wider than 2.5" so it bunches up when I snap the liner, but my undies are soft and stretchy so it's not really a problem (and perhaps it also helps keep the liners in place). I air dry them so they'll stay flat and won't shrink, and in case I overlook a stain, I won't set it with dryer heat. (Posted on 2/4/11)

soft and comfy! Review by katie
Quality I love these pantyliners. They're perfect for the end of my period when I'm just spotting, or for those days when I think I might get it, but don't want to wear a whole big pad. They stay put and don't bunch, and just get softer with every wash. Plus, they hold up well. (Posted on 2/4/11)

needs disposable sticker backing Review by Irina
Quality I have been using reusable diapers for my son and eating organic, so I was eager to try the reusable pantyliners (mini size, since I am between small and medium). However, they didn't quite live up to my expectations: 1. warp in dryer (so I have to remember to fish it out before drying) 2. do not stay in place, and quickly move up the butt (I am wearing cotton pretty tight underwear, briefs type). To readjust them is not a possibility when you are in public or at work, and a mispositioned pantyliner feels very annoying. 3. the mucus doesn't really absorb into the pad, and more like forms a residue on top that dries up and sometimes becomes scratchy (not always, just sometimes). I suppose a slight urine loss is more appropriate condition for the pantyliners than regular between period mucous-y discharge. I suppose if the flaps would be placed off the center and the inside fabric to be more like that of diapers, as well as to have a small double-sided disposable sticker (to hold it in place) than it would work. My Favorite! Review by Jill
Quality The mini pantyliner is my favorite lunapads product (so far ;)
I am 5'5' and wear a size 4-6 and the teenies seem to move around a little but the mini's stay in place and I feel more secure. I like these for everyday. Very comfortable and easy to care for. (Posted on 1/15/11) -
So soft! (with minor wedgie problem) Review by Montanan
Quality I love how soft lunapads are and happily wear the teeny sized ones during the day. My one complaint is that the mini pantyliners give me a wedgie, even when I wear them under tight jeans. But they are absolutely perfect for sleeping in. (for reference, I'm about a jeans size 12 and 5'8") (Posted on 12/8/10)
