How do BASE period underwear work?

Aisle undies feature a specially-engineered lining that combines super-absorbent Truetex™ technology with a leak-proof layer to keep you dry and feelin’ fly.

Do Aisle period underwear contain PFAS?

No detectable levels of PFAS have been found in our underwear, based on a detectable limit of one part per million

Do I need to wear a pad or tampon with them?

Our Thongs work for very light flow, or as backup protection for a tampon or menstrual cup.

How do I wash my Aise BASE undies?

Rinse the gusset in cool water before washing in the machine with your regular laundry. Hang to dry where possible - it saves energy & prolongs the life of your undies! Just make sure they’re fully dry before reusing. Otherwise machine dry low.

Are BASE underwear compatible with Aisle Boosters?

Our period thongs are not compatible with Boosters.

Comfortable and cute

The Base thong has a nice fit, wide comfortable waist band holds it in place all day reducing bulk and preventing any “digging” into your skin. Great for a light day or even absorbing some sweat while at the gym.

Comfortable, no leaks, forgettable period

Feels fantastic to be able to forget about menstruation with this, especially in combination with a menstrual cup (Diva Disc). Love the color and fit too, would wear when not on period.

Essential

These thongs are essential for days when you just need a lil somethin and also you don't feel like having a pantyline. Love that they're a cotton blend. No joke about going up a size - or measure and use their size chart.

Only thing to note - if you're like me and you're used to wearing super stretchy synthetic material thongs, this one can give you a wedgy feeling sometimes. But it's cotton, which is awesome, so we deal with it. 😁

So tight, so uncomfortable, and always leaks

These are awful, I had to throw them away. The band is so tight it cuts into me, even when I sized up, it’s like a little corset. And every time I wear it, it leaks and stains my pants half way through the day. Even on lighter days! Liquids less absorb than kind of roll off. Do not recommend.
