I'm only sorry I didn't know about it 15 years ago. Review by B.
Quality I love love love love love my divacup and recommend it to all my friends. I started using one 5+ years ago and have never looked back. (There was a minor learning curve and it took me 2 or maybe 3 periods to fully get the hang of it.) Periods are never fun but mine is so much less of a pain and inconvenience than it used to be--no longer do I have to choose between gross, bulky, wet pads or dry, uncomfortable (and frequently leaky) tampons full of bleached cotton made by companies that don't give a crap about women or our health. And of course I love that I'm saving money and helping the environment.
I can wear whatever underwear I feel like and be confident that there won't be any leakage or overflow. I practically forget I'm on my period. Another great thing about the Divacup is that you can wear it on days when you THINK your period is just about to start but aren't sure and don't want to get caught unawares. No way can you do that with tampons! (Posted on 5/14/12) -
IN-CRED-IB-LE!!! Review by sailormoonaddict
Quality Ok I'd like to start by putting out there that I am a teen, and will be starting highschool very, very soon! I have an EXTREMELY heavy flow and I do not believe in using birth control to..well..control it. I also do not like tampons. I was fine with them at first, (I have no problem with my body) but I hated taking them out, even with my heavy flow they felt drying.
Then I heard about the DivaCUp and begged my mom to get it for me. She finally did and I thought I knew how to put it in perfectly and all, but lemme tell you, I was quite dissapointed when it hurt like heck to get it in. I tried again and again but it wouldnt go all the way in.
Then I had a break through! I got it in and knew it would be a starting friendship with my period. I'm so glad I have it and I'm so glad I'm not destroying our beautiful Earth!
Thank you Lunapads girls!
And to all you thinking about getting it, Please do! Think of all the good you are doing!
And don't let the thought of it hurting me ruin your descision. Everyone is different and I'm sure I wasn't doing something right, and it might have something to do with me being a virgin also.

WONDERFUL product Review by Annie
Quality I have been using my Cup for over 2 years now, and I cannot over-stress how much I enjoy it. I have bought it for friends and family; and it's a great go-to gift for bridal showers, baby showers, birthdays, etc.
It is extremely convenient--pop it in in the morning and forget about it until the evening. There's no absorption, so there is no issue with dryness during insertion or removal.
My flow varies, and at first I was worried about my cup overflowing--but it lasts the day even on my heaviest days.
Cleaning the cup is a breeze--I just wash it out while using it, then boil after my menses.
I cannot believe I used tampons.
I will buy one for any future daughter I may have. (Posted on 5/1/12) -
Love My DivaCup! Review by JFO
Quality I love my DivaCup. It has been 11 years now since I bought my first one. After 10 years, I bought the new silicon version. I travel a lot - thank goodness I have my own protection with me at all times, especially when I am in a third world country. You will be so happy you bought it. (Posted on 4/23/12)

I am a Diva! Review by lolcat
Quality I read about the DivaCup a couple years ago and was admittedly kind of weirded out by the concept of putting a cup in my vagina. I quickly forgot about it until my environmentalist friend learned about menstrual cups at a green convention and mentioned it to me.
I started looking at the DivaCup again last week and was quickly converted. My period started this week and I really wanted one. On my second day I was at school and I had the mortifying experience of bleeding through my super tampon and light pad and onto my jeans in 2 hours, so I went ahead and bought one from London Drugs, on sale for $34.99 with the DivaWash for $7.99.
I was super excited and used it immediately when I got home. It was really easy! It took a little time but I got it in right the first time (with my foot on the tub edge) and I couldn't feel it at all, including the stem. Later I did cut the stem a little because I could feel it in certain positions (eg. lying down on my side). I slept with it in overnight and it was great waking up knowing I hadn't bled through anything during the night. Taking the DivaCup out was difficult, but I'm thinking it'll take some practice. After washing it I unfortunately did not reinsert it correctly and it leaked a little bit. I was in a public washroom but I figured I should just reinsert it completely and afterwards it was completely fine for the rest of the day.
It does take time to get used to and it'll probably take me a couple cycles to get used to the "wtf I have a cup in my vagina" mentality. Oh here's a tip: if you put the DivaCup in and squeeze your vaginal muscles and you feel air wheezing out, go back and check the seal. That's how I discovered I didn't have it in correctly. Also, bowel movements may push the stem out a little, and it's kind of freaky but the cup itself doesn't come out.
This is a really awesome product! For me, it wasn't as revolutionary as I can see it was for other reviewers, probably because I'm generally okay with the feeling of tampons. After buying the DivaCup though, I won't go back! I really like that it is good for the environment, healthier and, since I'm a student, cost-efficient as well. And that moldy tampon thing freaks me out too much.
I plan on letting my mother know about the DivaCup. She's a little conservative about putting things up there, but her periods are so bad that she's actually looking forward to menopause, so I'm thinking she might like this :) (Posted on 4/15/12) -
Seriously life-changing Review by Maria
Quality I have to admit, I was too squeamish for a long time before finally deciding to give this a go (the moldy tampon scare totally pushed me over the edge). I really wasn't keen on handling my own menstrual blood, but when I started reading about how much healthier this is for you (and how a tampon absorbs all your vaginal moisture and messes up your pH) I finally caved. I'm 29, so technically I should have gone for size 2, but I'm very glad I went with 1. It's absolutely leak-proof, and on my heaviest day (which would mean a tampon change every 1.5 hours, since I frequently have clots that render a tampon next to useless) I had worry-free protection. AMAZING. It's not the most comfortable thing to remove, but that'll come with practice, and I cut the stem COMPLETELY off. I'm not scared of sticking my hand in my vag, and the stem was irritating my inner labia too much. Now? Can't feel it and it's the best thing in the world. I'm already recommending it to all my friends! (Posted on 4/11/12)

Basically great, but still a little uncomfortable Review by Like it but...
Quality Based on the fact that nearly everyone says the Diva Cup can't be felt when inserted properly, I have to assume that it must be me. I have attempted to use the cup through several cycles, only to have to remove it after a few hours at most. The cup itself cannot be felt much, and I don't think it is really the problem. For me, it's the stem! I've cut it down to the minimum recommended length, which helped a little, and then under duress went ahead and cut it some more today. So far, it is the most comfortable I have experienced yet. I want this to work, I really do. On the positive side, there are no leaks to be found. I love the confidence of knowing that even on my heaviest flow days I don't have to constantly worry about leaks; what liberation! I love the spirit and the intent of the Diva Cup, and I love the exacting safety and quality standards. There are no worries about hidden mold or God knows what other horrors lurking in my Diva Cup. If I can just get the comfort issue ironed out it will be every bit as wonderful as everyone else experiences! I am thinking that if this latest trim doesn't do it, one more trim of the stem will. :-) (Posted on 4/2/12)

Worthwhile and Rewarding Review by Edie
Quality The Diva Cup is one of the most worthwhile and rewarding products I own, up there with my iPhone. I love it. There's no going back. I was caught without it for a long weekend last month and almost cried. Seriously, ladies. If you're not using it, you're wasting your money and enduring unnecessary discomfort. I always wore a pad with a tampon in case of leaks or messiness, but I don't have to do that with the Diva Cup. I forget it's there, it's easy to use, and I'm saving money on tampons that are uncomfortable, unhealthy (stuffing bleached cotton up there can't be good), and sold by multi-national corporations that I don't want to support. This is better in every way! Makes my period orders of magnitude less annoying (Posted on 3/6/12)

Roller Derby Divas! Review by Jacqueline
Quality I decided to purchase the DivaCup in order to become a bit "greener". After the first use, I'm completely in love with it! I can immediately see the cost benefits as well as the health benefits of utilizing something so incredible. I'm definitely going to tell my friends and roller derby teammates about this product! Great for Yoga + Lunapanties Recommendation Review by Martha W.
Quality This is, without any doubt, the MOST AMAZING piece of technology ever invented for periods. I'm now buying my 2nd DivaCup, so that I can keep it one at home, and one in my travel bag, just in case. The cup makes Bikram yoga (never easy) doable with your period: never any mess, leak, discomfort or (how awful!) stray String escaping the shorts. Never. Ever.
PS: the lined undies are also perfect for post-Bikram dressing...the sweating (for me) continues for, sometimes, a half hour after the class. These are comfy and absorbent (I guess my point is they are not just for periods). (Posted on 3/6/12)
