    All sizes of Lunapanties are compatible with Maxi Basic, Maxi Wing, Long Basic, Long Wing, Heavy Wing and Post Partum Liner Inserts for increased absorbency.

    Our Bikini style sits low on hip with high cut legs, offering sensible back coverage. Elastic waist and legs. Fleece gusset panel also features soft, cotton bands allowing you to add Liner Inserts according to your needs. Changing your Liner before soaking through is the key to staying comfortable and dry throughout the day.

    Bikini Lunapanties are suitable for daily needs or as back up to a menstrual cup when worn without a Liner Insert. When worn with a Liner Insert Lunapanties can accommodate light to average menstrual flow. Changing your Liner before soaking through is the key to staying comfortable and dry throughout the day.

    Construction
    Made from 95% Organic Cotton and 5% Lycra for a smooth, snug fit. Gusset is lined with 100% Organic Fleece. Liner Insert is made from 2 layers of 100% organic cotton fleece.

    Performance
    Worn on their own without a Liner Insert, Lunapanties will last approximately as long (per use) as a disposable pantyliner. When worn with a Liner Insert Lunapanties are comparable to a disposable pad. Additional mindfulness may be advisable, however, as Lunapanties are made with natural, more porous fibers and do not contain added chemicals or absorbing agents. Liner Inserts can be added for additional absorbency as needed. Changing your Liner before soaking through is the key to staying comfortable and dry throughout the day.

    Lunapanties can be washed by hand or machine in any temperature with your regular detergent. Pre-soaking or rinsing in cold water prior to washing is recommended, but not always necessary, particularly if they are not heavily saturated. Please note that if Lunapanties are being soaked, soaking water must be changed daily.

    We recommend natural cleaning products such as Nellie’s All Natural Laundry Soda for regular cleaning, and Buncha Farmers Stain Remover to perk up stained Lunapanties. Heavy stains may also benefit from occasional machine wash and dry in hot settings or air drying in direct sunlight.

    Please avoid the use of chlorine bleach or fabric softeners to clean Lunapanties, as this will decrease the performance of the products and is harmful to the environment.

    Liner Inserts can be added as desired by inserting the ends under the bands in the gusset panel. Multiple Liner Inserts may be inserted for increased absorbency. Liner Inserts can be refreshed throughout the day or night as desired by simply removing and replacing.

      Problem with disposable pads: They move. The adhesive ruined my underwear. When they moved the overflow stained my underwear. The plastic irritated my skin.
      Problem with tampons: They dried me out. Very dry. Very itchy. Is that a yeast infection again?
      Luna-undies: Soft. Body can breathe. I don't feel dried out or uncomfortable. Liners stay in place. Extra protection under the liner. Feel secure in-bed, out of bed.. at university... cuddling with fiance...

      Life is good.

      Have 2x Hipster + 2x Bikini. Hipster is my favourite, but I got the bikini for variety (I don't own two of the same anything.. unless it is a diff colour of the same). I like that they match the organic liners, however for other people I think they should also match the non-organic, for people on a budget. More dark colours would certainly be nice.       I had a friend who was a fan of lunapads.com on facebook. I went to check out the website and was surprised to see the options available for environmentally friendly period products. I wrote her to see if she actually used the products and she gave me rave reviews - especially about the lunapanties. After 3 months of using the lunapanties, I am definitely going to stick with them. I like the feel of panties with the liners. The liners aren't much bigger than a pad to stick in my purse or pocket. I haven't had any issues with them soaking through. I just bought 4 more pairs of panties a few weeks ago so now I have 6 pairs to make it through a mentrual week without having to wash every other night (since I originally bought 2 pairs of lunapanties to see if I liked them).
