Includes 1 Mini Pantyliner

Lunapads Pantyliners are a simple, all-in-one design. They are our thinnest, most breathable option, and are meant to be used on their own. Removable Inserts cannot be added to increase their absorbency.

Mini Pantyliners are 8” (20 cm) long and approx 2.5” (6 cm) wide when fastened.
Suitable for very light flow, spotting, backup protection, or for everyday leaks throughout the month.

Wing Extenders add an extra ½" of width to fit underwear with a gusset wider than 2.5".

Construction and Performance

2 Layer, 100% cotton flannel base topped with gusset panel made with 2 layers of soft and absorbent 100% cotton fleece. Nickel-free, Silver-plated brass single snap fastening.

Pantyliners are suitable for daily discharge, light menstrual flow or as back up for a menstrual cup. Lunapads Pantyliners will last approximately as long (per use) as a comparably-sized disposable pantyliner. However, unlike most disposable pantyliners, Lunapads do not contain any added chemicals, gels, or super absorbent polymers. Given this, Lunapads users need to be mindful of changing their pantyliner as frequently as their flow dictates in order to prevent soaking through.

Lunapads will last upwards of 5 years with recommended usage and care. Many of our customers report they still own some Lunapads from 10 years ago!

Wash and Care

Lunapads can be washed by hand or machine in any temperature with your regular detergent. Pre-soaking or rinsing in cold water prior to washing is recommended (but not always necessary) particularly if the pads are heavily saturated. Do not soak for longer than 24 hours.

We recommend natural cleaning products such as Nellie’s All Natural Laundry Soda for regular cleaning, and Buncha Farmers Stain Remover to perk up stained Lunapads. Heavily stained Pads, Inserts, or Pantyliners may also benefit from occasional machine wash and dry in hot settings or air drying in direct sunlight.

Please avoid the use of chlorine bleach or fabric softeners to clean Lunapads, as this will decrease the performance of the products and is harmful to the environment.

How to Use

Wrap the Pantyliner around the gusset of your underwear and close the snap to secure in place. The fleece panel should be facing up (towards your body on the inside of the panty), as this is the most absorbent part of the pantyliner. Note that incorrect placement of the Pantyliner may result in result reduced comfort or performance.

Love these!Review by Kate
I have a Mirena so have spotting on most days, but never a heavy flow. I wear one of these pretty much every day and it does the trick. I have a few in the organic beige and am amazed at how easily they wash up with no special treatment, but mostly use the ones with black pad area because my husband gets weirded out seeing them in the laundry (sigh) and the black makes it that much less obvious. I love not having to think about buying pads / tampons / pantiliners basically ever again. (Posted on 8/13/2016)
Good so far!Review by Lauren
I just bought one of these to try out, so far it has been good and I have no complaints, (I'm giving 4 stars since I haven't had it for long enough to properly review). I ran it through the washer and dryer before trying it and didn't notice any warping or major shrinkage, so all great there. I also found it stayed perfectly in place for me which I was super nervous about based on some of the other reviews. I chose the black colour so there would be no gross staining after long periods of use. The only concern with black is I can't really tell where i might have leaked off the side or back since I can't tell in which direction it's collecting fluid, but hopefully my cup doesn't leak quite so much that that becomes a regular concern. I'm inclined now to buy the set of seven, but am going to try it a couple more times so I know for sure it's a good size. Pretty excited about not having to leave embarrassing liner wrappers the bathroom garbage at peoples homes, or having to touch those gross sanitary product disposal units in public washrooms, so vile.

A bit of back story. I use the Me Luna menstrual cup, after struggling with removal of the Diva Cup I ended up throwing it away after a couple months since it was pretty scary when I couldn't get it out, and I found the Me Luna cup which offers a variety of grip ends (ended up with the purple cup with the ring end and I love it). Been loving the menstrual cup ever since, but often I'll place it in an incorrect position without noticing and pretty much everything its supposed to be collecting comes out, so back-up panty liners are definitely required. Great for Regular UseReview by Becca
I have a really light flow, so these are a much better option for me that the actual pads and inserts. Happy to have received this is the starter kit, and planning to add the Long Pantyliners to my stock as well. They are light and comfortable and I don't have many issues with needing to readjust them. (Posted on 1/15/2016)
Love these little guys! Review by LMN
My diva cup leaks a little, and on the super light days these are also perfect! They're cotton like underwear which makes them comfortable like your not really wearing anything extra. I also love wearing these hiking. Many say they're too hot in the summer, but honestly that's when I like them best. They absorb that extra moisture and allow my hiking pants to stay dry. Better than disposables for so many reasons! Review by LMN
I really love these little guys. I think I may try the longs next as they are a little short at times when on rare days they move forward or backward. And it's usually on the days my diva cup decides to lead =( I have pretty sensitive skin and disposables always burn my skin when body fluids mix with the chemicals in them.

Some say they get to warm in the summer, but I find the summer is warm anyway so these are great protectors for my shorts from sweat and other stuff down there. They do take a bit to dry depending on the weather... But that's when I remind myself I should buy more to last at least a week. I am really excited to try the actual pad I just bought and give myself a break from the cup =) (Posted on 12/6/2015)
Nice product but slides backReview by Nushka
Nice quality and dries quickly which is convenient when travelling, but won't stay in place even when in desperation I tested it with my tight fitting bathing suit. I tried the long and the thong sizes upon reading reviews saying they had better luck with these sizes, but for me they both slid far back as well. So, unfortunately, even though these liners are well made, they are useless for me. (Posted on 9/29/2015)
My "Go To" Item for Every DayReview by Danielle
This is the first Lunapads product I ever tried.... and I was sold! Now, I use mini pantyliners every day. This size is perfect for me - great coverage, adequate absorbency and the right length to avoid any shifting. I have 18 of these in my reusables stash - 2 kits + 4 extras in Apple Blossom, Strawberry Jammin' and Red Rockets. The oldest ones in my collection are almost 4 years old and still in perfect condition! (Posted on 6/14/2015)
The best!Review by Laura Bryannan
I got my first set of mini pantyliners ten years ago and they're still going strong. Due to sensitivities, I had to buy the plain beige organic cotton fabric, but I was very excited to discover that not only do you have my fav color - purple - available in organic cotton, but you have long pantyliners now as well, a wish granted! I placed my order today and can't wait to receive them. Thanks for offering such wonderful products! (Posted on 1/9/2015)
AwesomeReview by Cheri
I love these. I use them when I know I'm about to start and at the end of my period. They are a great size and absorbency for leak-protection, they're comfortable, and I find them easy to wash as long as I pre-soak them. (Posted on 1/9/2015)
Comfortable and great for light flow/spottingReview by paleophyllum
I love the mini pantyliner to use on very light flow days/spotting or as back up for the DivaCup. These are comfortable and soft, a lot more so than disposable pantyliners. I have several mini pantyliners in a couple of different designs but Funky Trunks is my favourite, it's so cute. The only down side (hence the 4 start rating) is that they "bunch up" a little bit on me and can be really warm in the summer when I'm really active, so I tend not to wear them while walking, hiking, or exercising. That being said, all I use for my moontime now is Lunapads/Lunapanties and the DivaCup. (Posted on 12/12/2014)
Nearly PerfectReview by DanniJay
I switched to cloth on my Dr's recommendation, after experiencing health problems related to a preservative sensitivity / allergy. I have two of the 7-day sets, and I use at least 1 of these every day. For regular activity level (ex: work, school, chores, walking, etc), this size is fine. However, I find they are not the correct length for active lifestyle (ex: aerobics, running, etc) due to shifting. It's not that they aren't "there"... in fact, this pantyliner size has never let me down. It's just that I'm end up constantly thinking about whether it has moved and that makes me uncomfortable. For my high-impact activities, I prefer the long pantyliner. (Posted on 9/16/2014)
Alright but not amazingReview by Alyssa
I got the free sample of this as well as the sample of another brand. At first I thought I would love this liner. It was very thin and the fabric was amazingly soft. However it unfortunately doesn't compare to my other brand. I hand wash my pads, and the liner takes a LONG time to dry, not to mention it wasn't easy to clean. Additionally it doesn't dry as softly when hand washed. I found that even when dried in the dryer the liner causes a little bit of itchiness for me and it isn't very absorbent.
If I hadn't had something to compare it to, I think I'd be perfectly fine with this pad. But unfortunately I wasn't impressed. (Posted on 6/7/2014)
Excellent!Review by LunaMoth
I got the sample of this (with the rocket pattern, weird but okay no one sees it) And i just love it. I am on depo shots so i do not bleed as much as i used to (spotting only, not really flowing) so i use this whenever i publicly go out and it is so comfortable and easy to wash and dries very quickly, its the perfect size and fits all my different panties (except thongs but i wouldn't wear those during bleeding anyways) I will definitely be buying another when my current one gets old. 5+ stars! Everyday and Diva BackupReview by Danika
As a teen I used pads and pantyliners. As I got older, I transitioned to tampons and pantyliners. Recently (mid-20's), I've developed frequent yeast infections. After researching several options to create a more natural balance (including feminine hygiene, dietary changes, etc), I discovered Lunapads and switched to the Diva Cup. Its been a bit of a learning curve, but I'm so glad I did.

To complement my Diva Cup, I also purchased several mini-pantyliners. Since they are so comfy, I've been using them for everyday discharge, post-sex wetness and Diva backup (I got some thong ones for special days too!). Even though I'm petite, I feel comfort in having "woman-sized" protection to rely on... rather than the flimsy/too small/too thin disposables I was using before. The extra length is handy because it helps the pantyliner hug my curves better and stay in place more easily. These keep me dry all day, and I'm happy to say that I've eliminated my irritation issues! :)

Thanks Lunapads! (Posted on 9/6/2012)
Love my LunasReview by Jen
I have tried a few different brands of reusable panty liners, and my favorite are the lunapads. They are well constructed, extremely soft and comfy, and perform well. I have not had any issues with sliding or bunching. The mini size has been perfect for use as a backup to my cup. I love the fact that they are breathable.

I used to have the most awful problems with disposable products. Suffering along with them for years not knowing that I had another option. I only wish I had found these sooner! You couldn't pay me to go back to using disposable products. (Posted on 6/26/2012)
Love it!Review by rlh
I've been using the mini panty liner for a few months now as a back up to my Diva cup and for the light flow days. I love them as they are very soft and comfy and I don't need to worry about waste when not sure of the exact start date of my period.

I found out just how good they are when I was out on a walk with my husband one day. It was the heaviest day of my flow and my Diva cup 'overflowed' but we were in an area that I was unable to empty my cup. Thankfully I had the Mini liner as it protected me very well! My underwear got stained but my jeans were fine. I was amazed at how much the liner actually held!! There is no way a disposable would have protected me in the same way.

I never had any issued with the sliding when I first purchased the liners but now they are sliding a little bit which is a bit annoying but it is easy to slip into a bathroom and quickly tug it back into the right position.

I enjoy them so much I've just place my order for the pads to try as I would like to get away from the Diva cup for my heavier days as well as I find it doesn't always sit very comfortable in my body (I've had it for a few years now and it just isn't quite perfect but after using it could not go back to disposables). Best pantyliner ever! Review by Daniela
I became a Lunapads customer because of their awesome support to programs like Pads4Girls.

My recent purchase included 3 mini pantyliners, and I'm really excited about these products. They offer a lot better coverage than the flimsy disposable liners do, and the length is just right for me - I don't need a "boat" (lol), but want to know its there doing its job. I love the softness and the pattern (funky trunks) is awesome.

Looking forward to buying more... (Posted on 6/11/2012)
love it!Review by Jessica
Super comfy and nice and small. Got this one in the organic cotton and absolutely love it. I'm going to buy more soon! (Posted on 6/6/2012)
Wish I'd had these 20 years agoReview by Anne
I am nearing menopause now, but I absolutely love my pantyliners and wish I'd had them from my teenage years on. I use mainly the mini style, and every once in a while, they slide too far up or down, but mostly, they stay put. Disposables were always coming loose and sticking to ME instead of my underwear. Disposables aren't as absorbent and often left me damp and sticky. In the summer heat, disposables turn clammy, lose their adhesiveness, and bunch up, but Lunapad pantyliners stay drier and stay where they belong. I've been using them for about 3 years now, and I got my younger sister hooked on them, too. (Posted on 11/20/2011)
great for night use for lighter flow ladiesReview by erika
I bought two of these (in leopard print, yeeah!) in 2003 or 2004 and have been using them ever since! I have a pretty light period but when I do need to use something at night, they are perfect and have held up quite nicely with handwashing and occasional machine wash. The sliding is a little annoying but I've never had it slide to a point where it's not providing coverage at night. The fabric is still soft and fluffy, so much more comfortable than a disposable pad! (Posted on 11/15/2011)

Lunapads How-to Guide

Reusable menstrual products are eco-friendly, money-saving, healthy alternatives to disposable pads and tampons. Lunapads will last well over 5 years with recommended use and care! While individual use may vary, we estimate that a single Lunapad replaces 120 disposable pads or tampons.

A Conversation about The DivaCup

There are lots of reasons to switch from tampons to The DivaCup; convenience, comfort, your health, the environment, financial savings & more. This first episode in our new video series shares the personal accounts of a group of DivaCup users, and explores what motivated each woman to try this innovative menstrual solution.

Why Switch to Lunapads?

Roughly 20 billion pads, tampons and applicators are sent to North American landfills annually. Each menstruating person in North America will throw away an estimated 16,800 disposable pads or tampons in their lifetime; products that require hundreds of years to biodegrade. Imagine the difference we could make if we chose to ditch the disposables.
