Construction and Performance

2 Layer, 100% cotton flannel base topped with gusset panel made with 2 layers of soft and absorbent 100% cotton fleece. Nickel-free, Silver-plated brass single snap fastening.

Pantyliners are suitable for daily discharge, light menstrual flow or as back up for a menstrual cup. Lunapads Pantyliners will last approximately as long (per use) as a comparably-sized disposable pantyliner. However, unlike most disposable pantyliners, Lunapads do not contain any added chemicals, gels, or super absorbent polymers. Given this, Lunapads users need to be mindful of changing their pantyliner as frequently as their flow dictates in order to prevent soaking through.

Lunapads will last upwards of 5 years with recommended usage and care. Many of our customers report they still own some Lunapads from 10 years ago!

Wash and Care

Lunapads can be washed by hand or machine in any temperature with your regular detergent. Pre-soaking or rinsing in cold water prior to washing is recommended (but not always necessary) particularly if the pads are heavily saturated. Do not soak for longer than 24 hours.

We recommend natural cleaning products such as Nellie’s All Natural Laundry Soda for regular cleaning, and Buncha Farmers Stain Remover to perk up stained Lunapads. Heavily stained Lunapads may also benefit from occasional machine wash and dry in hot settings or air drying in direct sunlight.

Please avoid the use of chlorine bleach or fabric softeners to clean Lunapads, as this will decrease the performance of the products and is harmful to the environment.

How to Use

Wrap the Pantyliner around the gusset of your underwear and close the snap to secure in place. The fleece panel should be facing up (towards your body on the inside of the panty), as this is the most absorbent part of the pantyliner. Note that incorrect placement of the Pantyliner may result in result reduced comfort or performance.

Worth the MoneyReview by Lains
I got these in my Diva Cup starter kit a while back. I have an IUD so it turns out I don't need the cup at all and I just use these through my period. At first I was a little hesitant...Do I really want to use a re-usable liner? The answer is an absolute yes. These wash incredibly well, I've never even needed to use some kind of stain removing solution. The fabric is comfy and much more ~breathable~ than disposable liners. If I had to make one complaint it's that I found these get a bit bunched when I go to the gym, but even that isn't a big issue since once I got going, I hardly even noticed.

If you're willing to put out the money now, it will save you a lot in the long run. Plus these are much better for the environment! Highly recommend. (Posted on 9/9/2017)
Love theseReview by PM
I got these as a backup to my menstrual cups, and as a general pantiliner.
I wish I had done this a long time ago.
Incredibly comfortable. None of the irritating itchiness of disposables.
Now, I need to figure out a foolproof way to not spend all mymoney on pads! Ha! (Posted on 4/21/2017)
so softReview by lisa
these just arrived in the mail. I got the organic cotton with green forest background and they are sooooo soft. I can see these being super comfortable to wear and it seems they will offer a lot more coverage than I thought which is awesome. I'm sure ill be back to buy more. bonus they are made in Canada and they also sponsor girls education in Africa. whats not to love? So worth the money. (Posted on 4/11/2017)
So soft!Review by Amy P
I purchased a few Luna products to see if I wanted to make the switch to cloth. I'm still testing the pads (one performa, one overnight regular) and have mixed feelings about them, but I'm really loving the pantyliners! So much softer and more comfortable than Always pantyliners, which I had been using for the last fifteen years and recently had to stop using thanks to increasing contact dermatitis. Just came back to buy a multipack of these :) (Posted on 4/3/2017)

Luna Pads and the Diva Cup have completely changed my life and made me period so much easier and comfortable to deal with.

I can't believe that I did not make the switch sooner as I am 33. I have been using these products for 6 months and felt compelled to right a review. I was hesitant about the price as well, but these pads are such good quality and incredibly comfortable and soft, they are worth every penny. I feel so much better knowing that there is not chemicals and plastics rubbing on my skin all day, and they are also extremely easy to wash. I know that they are going to last me a long time as well, as long as I continue to take good care of them. I will hand-wash my pads at the end of the day in the sink, add some stain remover if needed, and then place in a delicates laundry bag in my hamper.

A good trick with the stain remover is that you can fold the pad in on itself and hold it in place with the snaps to let the stain remover soak in for a few hours, just be sure that you undo the snaps before you wash. I used to always be hand-washing my panties in the past due to tampons and pads/pantie liners leaking, so now it is saving my underwear and helping them to last even longer (and as we know, good panties are not cheap either) ! Then I just wash when I do my normal laundry and air dry. After a few months it has become so much of my normal routine that I don't even think about it anymore. And I find that the Luna Pads are excellent leading up to my period and the days afterwards, as a "just in case" piece of mind. I can wear them all day, and they are comfortable and I forget that I am even wearing them. In short, this is a great quality product, and I wish that all women knew about them. I would love to see a shift to using these to help our environment, too. I think back on all of the trash that I must have created in the years of using pads and tampons and I can't believe it now! Wish I knew about these soonerReview by C
So comfortable, easy to clean, good for the environment, & it saves money on the long run. I wish I had known about cloth pantiliners sooner. I've also noticed that it smells cleaner & stays fresher longer down there than when wearing disposable liners. My only criticism is I wish they offered more appealing designs for both pantiliners & the normal flow pads as some competitors do. (Posted on 2/25/2016)
I'm very picky how I spend my moneyReview by CeePeeA
Ok. Does this sound like you? I'm reluctant to spend money even though it may be justified. I keep price tags on items for the longest amount of time that I can, just in case I want to return them. Well that's me. This was the best purchase I could have made. My husband is the one, and always is the one, to make me purchase these. He has been trying to get me to purchase organic pads/tampons for the longest. I wouldn't because they were just soooo expensive. I just consistently kept changing pads, because the manufacturers, for some reason, felt as though we need chemicals - baby powder, aloe vera and the such, down you know where. The labels that bragged about fragrance free had so much other garbage in it, it was ridiculous. I even resorted to just using vaseline, then wearing a pad to eliminate the irritation. I've been doing this for years as the manufacturers kept upping there game with this unnecessary stuff in pads. I had yeast infections, which I hadn't had in 15+years. Well I broke down and bought these for the first time and just took advantage and bought them again today. I then realized that I had not done a review on my previous purchase. I paid the extra money and got the organic cotton ones. Once again I am not fond of dyes, I don't see the necessity. I'm so happy with my purchase, no more itching, rashes or anything anymore. It has been 5 months I have never felt better and I have almost broke even with the price of disposable pads I would have been buying. I soak/wash them in a non allergenic detergent - hot water, rinse in cold. Hang to dry. They look the same as when I bought them new. I debated about the size and the smaller size fits perfect. Love them!Review by Cat
I've been using the mini pantyliners for 5 months now and I love them! They are soooo comfortable and perfect as a back up for the diva cup. I machine wash mine in hot and air dry them. If I do laundry in the evening and hang them up, they are usually dry by the morning. Would highly recommend these, they are just so comfy! (Posted on 1/20/2015)
In Love! Review by Danielle
I use mini pantyliners every day. Although I am a petite woman, this size is perfect because it offers reliable coverage and ideal comfort with no shifting. I own 18 mini pantyliners (2 kits + 4 extras) - Apple Blossom, Strawberry Jammin' and Red Rockets. The oldest ones in my collection are 3 1/2 years old and still in great condition. They're great!Review by Lucie
Love them. Shipping is fast. Just bought 2 long pantyliners for my mom to show her how soft and comfy they are! ;) (Posted on 1/2/2015)
Martial Arts Uniforms... they all have white pants!Review by Abigale I
I have been using a DivaCup since October 2012. for the first year that had been enough for me. Then i began taking taekwondo classes and there was all of a sudden a new issue to deal with... Physical exertion + flexibilty + WHITE PANTS! After a few experiences with disposable pads while I was dancing there was no way I was going to spend an entire sweaty hour with a gross pad sticking to me rather than my undies. So, I decided to try Lundapads mini pantiliners as an extra assurance. It took a while to move from just athletic use into casual use...but they are just too nice. Its like changing into your most comfy pajamas. On days when i feel gross, these always manage to make the day a little happier. :) (Posted on 6/5/2014)
Awesome Everyday ProtectionReview by Kelly
I have used these pantyliners everyday for nearly a month. The flannel lining is soft, comfortable and the liner stays in place even when running or biking. They are especially helpful during the spotting days of your period and when your cervical mucus is wet and slippery during ovulation. I hand wash and air dry all my Lunapads products and these pantyliners take about a day to dry completely. (Posted on 5/31/2014)
great product - want more Organic colors!Review by Bells
I have a set of the mini pantyliners in Cosmic Dancer and use them almost everyday. I just wish the organic liners came in many more colors! Given how much pesticides are used for conventional cotton and how the whole point of using cotton liners is to help the environment, I'm quite surprised that Lunapads hasn't switched completely to organic cotton. I came back for another set and am sad to see that there still are not more options for organic cotton. (Posted on 11/3/2013)
Perfect for meReview by Bear
I have a mixture of lunapads that i have bought over the years. The newest addition are these 7 day mini pantyliner. My period can be light to medium so I have been able to wear these pantyliners for mid - end days. Also note that I am petite which I think is one of the main reasons these work for me. I wouldn't go back to normal sanitary towels. Lunapads are great, really easy to use, comfortable and so soft. And I plan to buy a set for when my daughter starts her period. (Posted on 9/27/2013)
So comfortable and perfect sizeReview by Susan
I bought these after having a Cone Biopsy to remove precancer from my cervix. The doctor said I would be bleeding for up to 6 weeks. These have been fantastic. they are JUST the right size. You barely notice that you have them on because they are soft and amazingly comfortable and they were just the right amount of absorbant. Disposable pantiliners make my skin very sore, with these, I have had NO issues at all! I'm thrilled with this product and would highly recommend it to anyone that has any issue with sensitivity to store bought pads. (Posted on 12/23/2012)
Everyday and Diva Backup Review by Danika
I love these pantyliners! I originally bought them to be a back-up to my newly discovered Diva Cup (perhaps the best invention EVER), and I found that I like them for both period backup and regular everyday use. They feel so soft and comfortable! I love this length because I feel that it helps the liner hug my curves just right so that it stays in place easily. Even though I'm a small woman (110 lbs, size XS/2), I like my liners to offer full coverage - good enough to go from work to active lifestyle to overnight, etc - and these are perfect!

Note: I ordered mine in Apple Blossom (red base) and they don't show any stains at all! (Posted on 9/6/2012)
Love lunapadsReview by Camille
When I got these I found that they were kind of big for a pantyliner (compared to the small disposable liners I used to use.) The mini liners the same size as the mini pads from Lunapads. However, I just use pantyliners at the end of my period so I still want good coverage to make sure I don't end up with a pair of stained panties, so they're perfect. They're super soft and breathable! I highly recommend them!
If you're on the small side and you're looking for everyday liners though, I would recommend the teeny pantyliners for a more 'everyday coverage'.
Overall, great product :) (Posted on 4/14/2012)

Lunapads How-to Guide

Reusable menstrual products are eco-friendly, money-saving, healthy alternatives to disposable pads and tampons. Lunapads will last well over 5 years with recommended use and care! While individual use may vary, we estimate that a single Lunapad replaces 120 disposable pads or tampons.

A Conversation about The DivaCup

There are lots of reasons to switch from tampons to The DivaCup; convenience, comfort, your health, the environment, financial savings & more. This first episode in our new video series shares the personal accounts of a group of DivaCup users, and explores what motivated each woman to try this innovative menstrual solution.

Why Switch to Lunapads?

Roughly 20 billion pads, tampons and applicators are sent to North American landfills annually. Each menstruating person in North America will throw away an estimated 16,800 disposable pads or tampons in their lifetime; products that require hundreds of years to biodegrade. Imagine the difference we could make if we chose to ditch the disposables.
