Wash and Care

It is recommended the first time you wash your new Moon Pad Bag to wash in hot water and dry in the dryer. This will help to shrink any holes made by the sewing machine needles and make your bag more waterproof.

How to Use

Place clean supplies in 1 compartment and used supplies in the other. Pads, Pantyliners and Liner Inserts can be folded to fit into the bag. Do not fill bag with water, as this will cause the bag to leak. Keep bag right-side-up if used supplies are heavily saturated.

10 years and is still perfectReview by Maria
I bought this pad bag 10 years ago with my first Lunapads. I've used it every month ever since and it's still in very good condition. The only bad thing is that I have no excuse to buy a new one!! (Posted on 8/21/2015)
Perfect!Review by Robyn
Until I bought this I didn't feel comfortable using reusables out and about, but now I am all good! I stuff it with a few pads and chuck it in my purse and i am good to go! Washes well. (Posted on 1/15/2015)
Love itReview by ay
I love this little zippered bag. Before they came out with this one, I was using one they had from years ago which didn't have a zipper, it just had the fabric fold over - if that makes any sense. It was fairly self contained, but the zippered compartments are much better. Anyway, I love this pouch. I put new lunapads and liners in one side, then put the used ones on the other side. Perfect for taking to work or out for the day. And it's so cute too! This is a must have if you use lunapads. (Posted on 3/6/2013)
Great for travel!Review by Carla
I always take my moon pad bag when I'm staying overnight somewhere. It's a great size for travel and still holds several clean or used pads discretely. I'm really glad to have it for overnight trips. (Posted on 2/21/2013)
gorgeous yet discreetReview by southern buyer
I've had this bag for a while now, and I love it. My pads are the larger ones - the old wide size and overnight size. These pads have the largest inserts - I also have some tri-fold inserts. I can easily pack enough inserts to last me from 8 am to 6 pm on a heavy day. This bag was key to my transition from cloth pads only at home to using cloth pads almost exclusively. A little smaller than I was hoping.... Review by Daniela
I'm a newbie to Lunapads, and I chose to order this bag with my first set.
I got it in the Damask print - so pretty! - but I was a little disappointed that the bag doesn't fit more items.

It's going to be great for day use since it fits 3 items in the "dry" pocket and fits into my purse. It won't be adequate for vacations, weekends away or stowing my collection at home. I'll have to find another bag for those purposes.

On the upside, I'm happy with the quality of the workmanship and value for my money... for this and all of my Lunapads products. (Posted on 6/11/2012)
Great Small BagReview by Jenna
It's a great bag that does what it's supposed to. It hold a few fresh pads and a few used ones. Easy to clean. I'm thinking of buying the larger version of the wet bag to store baby cloth diapers. (Posted on 3/16/2012)
glad to have itReview by elle
Everyone is saying it, and the moon pad bag really is a must-have. It is perfect for carrying both fresh and used lunas with you throughout the day. I have docked it one star because of a change in the design; the two halves of the bag no longer snap together, they are sewn. This means the bag can not be 'opened up' to lay flat, which makes it a little less versatile for storage in my drawer or travel in a suitcase. At the time I bought my bag, the snap feature was still listed in the product description and appeared in the product video, so I felt a little disappointed when mine arrived and wasn't as described. That said it's still a great bag and I'm glad I bought it, just confused why such a great feature was removed from the design. (Posted on 1/29/2012)
Valuable BuyReview by TK
Great bag with a simple, but ingenious design. I use it throughout the month because I love it so much. I haven't needed to hold used pads there because my DivaCup has been wonderful, but it's where I stash pantyliners and extra pads to be safe. It's a great size--it's like a roomy cosmetic bag. The moon pad bag is also really cute (it took a while to pick which pattern I wanted). (Posted on 12/20/2011)
Awesome! Review by Bri
I wish I had a reason to buy more!! (I don't have kids who take snacks or money to school, I don't wear makeup, and my hankies already have a place in my bag or hanky-box at home!)

Seriously though, the bag works great for period-cloth-pad-needs. I've never had it leak (or even remotely close to it), it washes well, it doesn't make noise in your bag or when you're opening it (nor do the pads - tee hee!), and OMG the patterns. Seriously, I want more of them. (Posted on 10/13/2011)
Fabulous Product!Review by Hopsing457
I've had my Moon Pad Bag for several months now and I could not live without it at this point. It was difficult to chose one from all the adorable patterns, I wish I had an excuse to buy more. I keep my Diva Cup, a small pad and a couple pantyliners in it and they all fit fine. When I have to change I just roll up or snap up the used pad or liner and put it in the other compartment. I've never had a problem with leaks or smells (since switching to cloth I don't experience problems with smells anyway). It's so discreet and convenient. When needed I just lightly wipe the inside of the 'used' compartment with a cloth with peroxide on it or just water. But really if you snap or roll things up I barely have a problem with marks on the inside of the bag. This product is genuinely fun for a girl who likes to accessorize and organize! I just received my moon pad bag with the fawns on it and I love it! I actually can't wait for my period to try it out along with my liners and diva cup :) (Posted on 10/4/2011)
My Owls are serving me excellently!Review by Drew
I got my Moon Bag when I ordered my first batch of Lunapads. I love it! My pattern has the most adorable little owls on it and I refer to the bag as "my owls." My owls have had no problem holding on to my clean and dirty Lunapads while I'm out and about. I love bringing my owls to work and carrying them to and from the restroom. No one ever knows what the bag is hiding! :D (Posted on 10/3/2011)
Wonderful!Review by Zada
LOVE LOVE LOVE this product! I have 2. Super cute and fully functional. Some days I carry 5-6 liners in one side at a time. One thing I can think of that would make it even better, is if the two sides snapped together. (Posted on 9/19/2011)
Must have with LunapadsReview by kjo
My moon pad bag is great and I'm not sure if I would have succeeded with my transition to cloth without it. It's small enough to fit in most purses but large enough to stay very prepared. I've been carrying it around in my backpack for months and it is still in great condition. (Posted on 9/17/2011)

Love It!Review by KC
I really enjoy this product because it can actually fit a store-bought and a cloth pad! Many other bags are too short and don't fit a variety of pad sizes!!!
It also washes up really nicely! I love how the bag doesn't make noise when you open it and when it's in your bag. This way people don't know what is in the bag!
A must-have for any one! And it makes a great gift! (Posted on 9/14/2011)
multi useReview by Julie
I love my Moon Pad bag for it's intended use but it also makes for a super cute little make up bag, mini purse, or snack bag.
I recently purchased one for my 7 year old thinking it would be great to carry hankies with her to school, she can keep clean ones and a small bottle of hand sanitizer in one side and put her booger-y ones in the other side. As I had this thought, it also occurred to me that she could use it for her snack that she takes with her. She can put some pretzels or grapes (as long as she's careful not to smash them) in one side and a hanky/napkin in the other side.
My cousin uses hers to tote make up and lunch money. (Posted on 9/4/2011)
makes using cloth pads easierReview by basbleu
I've been using Lunapads for years (alternating with disposables), and I've almost transitioned to all cloth pads. A way to change pads at work was a big roadblock. The Moon Bag helped me get over that hurdle. I wish I'd bought it earlier. (Posted on 8/29/2011)
LEAKS!!!!Review by GaGa
The moon bag is not waterproof! The PUL lining comes up quarter inch short from the zipper, so moisture leaks from there, causing a whole lot of mess. Planet Wise's small wet/dry bag is much better and cheaper. Don't waste your money on this!! (Posted on 8/17/2011)

Lunapads How-to Guide

Reusable menstrual products are eco-friendly, money-saving, healthy alternatives to disposable pads and tampons. Lunapads will last well over 5 years with recommended use and care! While individual use may vary, we estimate that a single Lunapad replaces 120 disposable pads or tampons.

A Conversation about The DivaCup

There are lots of reasons to switch from tampons to The DivaCup; convenience, comfort, your health, the environment, financial savings & more. This first episode in our new video series shares the personal accounts of a group of DivaCup users, and explores what motivated each woman to try this innovative menstrual solution.

Why Switch to Lunapads?

Roughly 20 billion pads, tampons and applicators are sent to North American landfills annually. Each menstruating person in North America will throw away an estimated 16,800 disposable pads or tampons in their lifetime; products that require hundreds of years to biodegrade. Imagine the difference we could make if we chose to ditch the disposables.
