Lunapads International is a women-owned social mission driven business based in Vancouver, Canada. Our goal is to help people have more positive and informed experiences of their period, and by extension, their bodies overall.
The Lunapads story? In short, a shit-disturbing fashion designer meets business savvy chartered accountant at a community leadership conference. They hit it off and partner up to transform menstrual health. Lots of surprises, teachable moments, belly laughs and a few tears ensue with the end result: a global brand leader in sustainable personal hygiene that is acclaimed for its innovation, fearlessness and commitment to social justice.
We’re deeply committed to building a more environmentally - friendly and socially just way of doing business to ensure a better future for menstruating people and the planet. We’re particularly proud of how our customers help divert twenty million disposable pads and tampons from North American landfills every year.
We are completely committed to customer service - we often say that there is no TMI at Lunapads! Please reach out with any questions or comments that you have about our products at email@example.com. We’re here to make your Lunapads experience a happy one.
We’re dedicated to building a better period.
Mentoring women entrepreneurs in our community
We regularly invite women wanting to start their own businesses (particularly green ones!) to our office for consultation and mentoring sessions. We provide leads, contact and advice. Please visit the Lunagals site for more information.
Business community support
We are members of the Green America Business Network, Social Venture Network, our local and online Better Business Bureaus and we are also a founding Western Canadian B Corp. We’re also a B Corp Best For the World honoree - please click here to read our latest assessment.
Volunteerism in action
Lunapads’ team members take time for volunteer activities throughout Vancouver. Particularly close to our heart is G Day, a rite-of-passage event for girls. Our team members sit on advisory boards, engage in political advocacy and perform countless hours volunteering directly with the public. Our organizations run the gamut from arts & culture to youth mentorship to animal rescue - we’re fully committed to our community!
