Lunapads Customer Collage

I was so happy to stumble across Lunapads - not only are they a huge money saver, but they have a positive environmental impact as well. I have shown my daughter the options so when she gets old enough she will be able to make an informed decision of her own. I love that this is a Canadian company as well. It makes me happy to be able to support something so close to home.

I've been using Lunapads for about five years now and I absolutely love them. I recommend them to everyone I know who menstruates. I always used to get all sorts of irritation when using disposable menstrual pads, and since I've made the switch I haven't had that. That alone would sell me on these.

But they're also great for dysphoria. I'm masculine-leaning nonbinary and I never feel less at home in my own skin than when I'm on my period. It's a reminder that my body isn't the way I would have it - and more than that, it often forces me into using public restrooms, which are the bane of my existence. It's bad enough that I know I'm on my period, I don't need everyone else knowing too.

With Lunapads, I don't have the problem of announcing to the entire bathroom, "Hey, I'm on my period!" And as much as I'm not a fan of menstruating - and frankly probably never will be - I feel about a thousand times better getting up in the morning and deciding "Do I want owls today, or am I feeling more plaid?" instead of having to pack my bag with very feminine disposable pads.

I've been using Lunapads for over 5 years now, specifically the pads and pantyliners. I honestly can't imagine using anything else. I'll NEVER go back to the nasty mainstream disposable pads. They made me itch and sometimes burn by the last days of my period. It was a horrible experience. Lunapads came into my life just after I started trying to sew my own pads out of thick cotton material. Once I discovered Lunapads, I abandoned my homemade pads and haven't looked back since. Lunapads have perfected the technique of how to make quality menstrual pads. I plan to purchase another set of pads very soon. This will make my third order. I should be set after this.
I just made the switch to The DivaCup and re-usable pads! I love it! I've been trying to convert my friends and one of them is interested. I hope I can get as many people as possible to use this product. Not only does it cut down on your bills every year, but it's WAY more comfortable, and you aren't dumping a bunch of waste. If you're reading this, I highly recommend that you make the switch like I did.
I have always hated my period. Absolutely hated it. It has always made me miserable physically, through cramps and uncomfortable sanitary supplies, as well as mentally. I had been debating cloth pads for about a year. Mostly it was part of the eco-kick I've been on, and I figured they couldn't possibly be any more uncomfortable than anything else I had tried. So I ordered a Lunapads sample pack about two weeks ago.

Two days ago I started my period and I am very happy to wear these pads. They're so comfortable! They don't stick to me, they don't come unstuck and bunch up, and they keep me much dryer than any disposable pad I have ever tried. They barely even feel like I'm wearing a pad. I love them! I will definitely be recommending you to friends.

I've been having all sorts of issues with pads and tampons. Finally got things almost under control with OB tampons, but then I had trouble finding them! So it was back to the drawing board. I had heard about Lunapads a while ago, and decided to finally check them out. BEST. IDEA. EVER. Ever since I started using Lunapads exclusively during my period, all the issues I'd been having have gone away. My periods are lighter, shorter and less painful! I recommend them all the time!
Long time user, first time making a testimonial! I've been using Lunapads for more than 7 years. I started a couple years after my 1st daughter was born, I figured I cloth diapered, so lets give this a try. I love using my Lunapads; they are fun to look at, so soft and not plastic crinkly! I love that you have expanded your line as well. After the birth of my 2nd my period changed A LOT. I needed to supplement my stash with different models, and you met my needs - thanks. I also use the DivaCup when I go swimming, it is a great alternative. On a serious note, I have endometriosis and switching to pads from tampons decreased my discomfort significantly. So switching to Lunapads which are fun from disposable was a no brainer! With this condition, I want to avoid all plastic and artificial gunk near my bits!
Lunapads Rock!!! WIsh I would have found these years ago. I am a daily wearer and will be forever (esp since I am getting older). Purchased some a few years ago and they are still in awesome shape. I usually don't use the liner. I have tried other brands and they just do not compare. Thanks for making such a great product.
I absolutely love not only the products Lunapads has to offer, but their customer care and promptness in answering questions and solving any issues with orders and/or the ordering process. The folks at Lunapads are top notch when it comes to customer care.
Love the products! For many reasons, but here's a few:
Environmental:  We live in the country, with a septic system and burn barrel as our only means of disposal.  I love that I'm not flushing or burning bags of period waste every month!  And the biodegradable washing products are great, too.
Financial:  A friend introduced me to Lunapads and The DivaCup over 5 years ago.  It took less than a year to "pay off" my monthly costs, and I haven't had to spend another dime since.  LOVE IT!
Generational:  I bought a set for my daughter long before she started her period.  I wanted to be prepared for the big day when it arrived.  I had them wrapped with a few other "coming of age" gifts, including a charm bracelet to mark special occasions in her life.  When the day arrived that she got her first period, I was ready!
I'm allergic to everything including pads, tampons, and toilet paper so i had to use expensive organic everything. Switching to Lunapads and the DivaCup has help tremendously. I'll save so much money and help the planet at the same time.
I decided to invest in reusable menstrual products for a few reasons. I tend to have heavy, long lasting and crazy scheduled periods. These products are a life saver. I had leakage pretty much every time I slept wearing regular disposable pads, even when I bought the largest ones I could find.

I also am very sensitive to what I put on or in my body, as well as the earth. So along with being vegetarian, recycling, and making my own household cleaners, reusable pads seem the next obvious choice. The fact that I'll save money overall because I bought reusables? Awesome!

I have told only a few people about these so far, as I'm still sensitive to what people think of me, and most people have had negative reactions (eeeeew). I am hoping to change their minds.

I have endometriosis, so periods have always been something to dread, and have even felt vaguely traumatic. For years I suppressed my cycle with medications. I am now preparing my body for conception, and so the period is back. I decided to finally give Lunapads a try, and I'm so glad I did. I hadn't realized how uncomfortable disposable pads were until now, but what a difference! For the first time I actually found myself looking forward to my period, pain and all. It's hard to explain how Lunapads have changed my feelings towards my cycle, but they absolutely have.
I started using Lunapads after realizing that disposable pads (even the natural ones!) were irritating and causing me to itch. UNCOMFORTABLE! I have to say I never had a problem with this stuff in my 20s, but once I turned 30, for some reason, every time my period came around I was irritated and sooo uncomfortable! For the past 2 years, I've been using Lunapads - is it just me, or does my period seem shorter? No itch. The pads last and last, and I haven't had a stain yet. I also have a ton of Lunapanties underwear, which is the only underwear I wear on a day to day basis. Thank you Lunapads. I am proud that there is a Canadian company doing such wonderful things for people and the environment. Kudos!
